This recorder set is just what I needed. You can plug the telephone adapter into the jack in the spare room and record audio from the main telephone. Recording starts when the phone is picked up and stops 3 seconds after the line drops. The only downside is that the flash memory is soldered onto the recorder so it cannot be upgraded.
